The 'run & gun' tuna fishing is extremely spectacular!
Once fish are detected, any combination of lures, cut bait and/or live bait can be thrown in an attempt to entice a bite. After locating a school of tuna that is chasing schools of baitfish to the surface, it's a matter of throwing your lure right into the center of the school of fish, slowly turning a few turns and... BITE!
But as quickly as the hunting party appear, they disappear again, only to reappear a few hundred meters away. In short: cast once or twice and look for the next school of fish. Tuna is an incredibly fast fish that never stops swimming. So plenty of hard and explosive runs.
